AYURVEDIC FACIAL MASSAGE

Ayurveda is recorded as the worlds oldest Indian Healing System, dating back nearly 4,000 years.

The purpose of Ayurveda is to nourish the root of life, in order to help keep ourselves healthy and happy.

The ancient texts say that the human lifespan should be around 100 years, and that all those years should be lived in total health, physically and emotionally.  The whole aim of Ayurveda is in prevention, and in the promotion of positive health, beauty and long life.

Marma Pressure points are vital energy points similar to acupressure. In Ayurveda it is said that the "life force" is located in the head. By balancing the energy within these vital points, on the head and face (37 Marma points) health at all levels within the body is promoted, and the life force Pranic flow is stimulated.

Massaging these pressure points of the face and head, in gentle clockwise movements with the fingertips stimulates/energise a marma point and a counter clockwise movement dispels and liberates blocked or stagnant prana,  thus rids tension from the face, tones, smooths firms the face muscles and helps to remove toxins away from the face (Lymph drainage) resulting in improved complexion of the face, boosting energy and immunity, but most importantly, Balancing your Mind, Body and Spirit.

"The feeling of well-being and tranquillity that this massage brings is something that you have to experience to believe!"
